Chez Vous’ Hotel Opening!

Another busy few months for the team at Chez Vous as everyone worked tirelessly to get our 8 hotel rooms refurbished and open for business and ahead of schedule!

Each room has been lovingly refurbished to a modern standard with fresh decoration, brand new carpets, new furniture and beautiful soft furnishings. All of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs and tea & coffee making facilities.

So far our guests have commented on how comfortable and enjoyable their stay has been and Thomas, our restaurant and hotel manager said:

“The team are really excited to now extend our hospitality to guests staying in the hotel, it is great for people whether visiting friends and family locally or convenient for people on business in the local area – the response so far has been really positive!”

Chez Vous Hotel now offers rooms on a bed & breakfast or room only basis, we have double, twin and family rooms available.

Manor House gets a ceremony licence!

Exciting news for one of our most popular wedding venues as Manor House School now has its own civil ceremony licence in place so we can hold wedding ceremonies for up to 50 guests in the beautiful entrance hall overlooking the lawn and gardens. This really adds great options for our brides and grooms who can either get married onsite or in All Saints church which is next door to the school.

When the registrar visited the venue she said:

“Manor House School is a beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony, probably one of the most picturesque settings we have licensed in Surrey!”

New Table d’hote Lunch Menus!

A new option for a casual lunch as we launch our table d’hote menu for lunchtimes. The fixed price menu at £15 for 2 courses offers a choice of starters and mains and is changed on a weekly basis. The fixed price a la carte menu is also still available at lunchtimes so with so much choice there is no excuse for not meeting up with friends or colleagues and enjoying a delicious Chez Vous lunch!

Chez Vous’ Restaurant Launch

September proved to be a very busy month for Chez Vous getting ready for the grand opening of the Restaurant in Warlingham. The clock felt like it was ticking quite rapidly but true to form we managed it in time for our launch evenings at the end of September where we invited local residents, businesses and of course our loyal customers and suppliers from the last incredible 10 years.

It was lovely to have so many people interested in seeing the fabulous refurbishment that had been going on over the previous few months and a special thanks goes out to Drew, our builder, project manager, doorman and on most days our sales representative with people dropping by all the time throughout the refurb curious as to what was going on in the building!

The launch had to be spread over two nights due to the high level of interest shown in the lead-up to the celebrations and both nights were packed to the rafters with our guests enjoying a champagne cocktail, canapés and a selection of our reputable party bowls created by chef’s Martin, Laurent, Ollie and the kitchen team.

It was great to meet local residents, councillors, business owners and of course catch up with our old friends, the feedback we received was wonderful and we look forward to being part of the community within Warlingham and bringing something new for all of our customers, old and new, to enjoy.

10th Anniversary

Chez Vous Events is celebrating 10 years of successful events and quality catering this year and we decided to mark the occasion by inviting some of our customers spanning the last 10 years, and the suppliers we work with, to an evening soiree at Robert Denholm House in Nutfield.

Martin provided some culinary entertainment by cooking up freshly made crepes for the guests whilst Ollie prepared some delicious canapes served by the girls whilst we circulated and had a good catch up with everybody.

It was great to have so many of our loyal suppliers supporting us on the night with Lesley from Amigos and Cocktails providing some wonderful cocktails and flaring entertainment throughout the evening and Paul Dickson wowing the guests with his magic! Thanks also to Alex from the Cheesecake band for kicking off the evening and to Suzi G for ending it on a high with her musical talent!

A special thanks also goes to Bob and John at Reveries for the lighting, Bushi at Parties Direct for the wonderful balloon decorations and Andrew at White Tent Events for the furniture. Thanks also to Mike Little who took some great images and captured the buzz of the evening. We were really pleased with the turnout and look forward to the next 10 years!
