Can you provide catering for our Christmas Party?
Yes we can create a bespoke menu for you based on your budget and the style of party. We can suggest venues or come to a venue of your choice including your office!

Can we provide our own drinks?
Yes, we do not charge corkage fees just a service charge per head to provide glassware, equipment and staff to serve beverages to your guests.

Do you deliver Corporate Lunches to our workplace so that we don't have to leave the boardroom?
Yes of course, we offer a range of lunch options from delivery only finger buffets to hot 3-course lunches subject to your facilities.

How much wine/champagne should I allow per person?
You should allow ½ bottle of wine and 2 glasses of champagne per person.

Should we provide spirits?
You can do although most people are happy with what is provided, alternatively we can set up a full pay bar subject to the venue.

Is a Toastmaster necessary?
Not absolutely necessary, but he keeps the whole day ticking along and ensures that timings are adhered to in order that the Bride and Groom can make the most of their day

How long should we allow for the arrival drinks reception?
1 to 1 ½ hours based on 100 guests, also dependent on whether you serve canapés and the amount of time your photographer needs.

Should we serve canapés?
Yes – it allows extra time if the photographer over runs and it would ward off the hunger pangs of your guests.

How long will the wedding breakfast take?
For a 3 course sit down meal it will take around 2 hours plus speeches.

Would a buffet be quicker than a sit down meal?
Not really, it may even be slower as your guests have choices to make and will hover and sometimes make more than one visit to the buffet.

How many people should I cater for at the evening buffet?
If it is a traditional finger buffet then you should allow for approx 70%, however we can offer a different style of service that is becoming more popular such as hot food passed around food like our Party Bowls, Fish & Chip Cones and Crepes. You should cater for everyone as everyone will want it!!

I have a diabetic/coeliac/vegan coming to my wedding can you accommodate them?
We like to make sure that customers with dietary requirements are well looked after and have an interesting meal the same as everyone else so will provide alternatives.

When should we serve the wedding cake?
Traditionally it is served with the coffee, some people prefer to serve it in the evening. However, if you have our Pièce Montée (French wedding cake) it can be served as dessert or in the evening.

We are not permitted to have fireworks can you suggest an alternative?
Wishes in the sky are a great alternative.

Do you do food tastings?
We do not have the facilities to carry out tastings at our production kitchens, but we do offer a discount voucher for ‘La Barbe Restaurant' our award-winning sister business where you can taste the standard of our cuisine. Alternatively we can do a dinner party at your house.
